Opening of Orshina Bakery in northeast Syria – Women’s livelihood project

In the north-east of Syria, a bakery was opened in which women were given the opportunity to be trained as bakers in order to pursue this occupation. Projects of this kind give local people the chance to start a new life. A life after the horrors ISIS has left behind. The bakery has been named Orhsina, which means « Soil of peace ».
