Hygiene Kit Projects in Homs and Al-Hassaka, Syria

Hygiene kit project Homs Governate Syria:

Project goal is to provide Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) hygiene-kits. Since the crisis, many hygiene products are too expensive. Those who have fled or are displaced can take only the most urgent with them. Adequate hygiene can prevent diseases.

Geography: Homs governorate (South Syria)

Service: in cooperation with Syriac Cross Organization Syria & the local parish church

Costs per family: $ 65 per family per month

Objective: to assist 500 families and distribute each month 250 hygiene kits to 250 families – per hygiene kit $ 5 are included for packaging, storage, transport and distribution.

Funds needed: $ 32.500

Hygiene kit project Al-Hassaka, Syria:

Project goal is to provide Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) hygiene-kits. Since the crisis, many hygiene products are too expensive. Those who have fled or are displaced can take only the most urgent with them. Adequate hygiene can prevent diseases.

Geography: Al-Hassaka (North East Syria)

Service: in cooperation with Syriac Cross Organization Syria

Costs per kit: $ 65 per family per month

Objective: to assist 900 families and distribute each month 300 hygiene kits to 300 families – per hygiene kit $ 5 are included for packaging, storage, transport and distribution.

Funds needed: $ 58.500

Content hygiene kits: toothbrush (5 pieces), towel (2 towels per family), toothpaste (2 pieces), soap (5 pieces), shampoo (3 kg), detergents (3 kg), infant diapers (2 bags), sanitary pads (3 packages), rash cream( 1 piece)
